Jennifer West

Jen inspires, designs, produces and manages projects with meticulous attention. With Boehm since 2007, she has led residential and community-scale projects. Jen draws upon diverse experiences in the arts, real estate development, and construction. Her master’s thesis on developing a culinary incubator space in Detroit’s Eastern Market brought together her strong interests in adaptive reuse, small-scale urban intervention, and food.


Bill Boehm, Principle Architect

Bill Boehm

Bill’s background ranges widely –  from building solar adobe structures in the southwest US to designing homes in the eco-vernacular of Sea Ranch in Northern California to planning municipal facilities in Malawi, East Africa. His commitment to social justice is expressed in his work in Africa (Peace Corps),  the City of Boston’s affordable housing division, and most recently with numerous Boston metro area CDCs and non-profits. Bill has extensive teaching and research experience, focused on housing and vernacular architecture.


Nick Kuhl - Architect

Nick Kuhl

Nick brings a background in scenery fabrication and project management to the Boehm studio.  Interested in working on projects of more permanence and social value, he is currently working on his Master of Architecture at the Boston Architectural College, focusing on housing and theory.  When not in the studio, he can be found climbing rocks and mountains near and far.  Nick helped lead the BAC/NEU team to second place in the 2015 Greater Boston Affordable Housing Competition.
