Newton House
Newton, MA

Renovations and additions were made to a small 1950's Cape to accommodate a growing family. The owners wanted to reorient the house toward the wooded backyard and southern light while maintaining the scale and character of neighboring houses. The front was left nearly unchanged, while a light-drenched living area, with a new master bedroom above, was added to the rear. A trellised deck steps down to the back yard.
